I attended Calvin College to receive my bachelor's degree in math. I also earned a classical Greek minor. I received funding for research as an undergraduate, and I was able to publish my findings in a journal. I love philosophy and math, and I like to share the information that I've collected over the years with students. As a tutor, I've been able to work with high school and college level students to help them learn multivariable calculus, linear algebra, calculus, pre-calculus, geometry, and algebra. I like to meet students at their current level, understand how they think, and then build from there to help them develop a strong understanding of the subject. When I have free time, I like to run, do yoga, and read. I also enjoy traveling.
