Experience

I graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.A. in History, along with minors in religious studies and philosophy. I spent a year studying in Florence, where I learned about European art and history. During this time, I also worked as an English language tutor to students from elementary school up until university. My primarily role as a tutor was to help students develop a deeper understanding of grammar rules while improving their literacy. After graduating from university, I started working as a curator in a museum, where I transcribed documents and led tours.I currently tutor a number of subjects, but I feel the most passionately about history, literature, and English. As a tutor, I strive to teach my students the how to improve their study habits while building confidence within the classroom. It is my goal to inspire my students, where they find joy in furthering their education.I strongly believe that education helps one grow, not just in the classroom, but also out in the world. I currently live in Seattle, and I teach a number of subjects, such as elementary and middle school math, algebra, American and European history, world history, philosophy, religious studies, English, and a number of subjects within the social sciences.I look forward to helping a new generation of students find passion in education.
